Taking place at the lively Lula Lounge on Dundas St. W., we are excited to welcome this transportive lineup of genre-benders on our opening night.
JUNO-nominated artist Tara Kannangara returns to Wavelength with her wild trumpet melodies and searing guitar lines. Head turning and culture bending, her piercing lyricism brings you deep into her dreams.
Brooklynite Dan English’s music is as cinematic as his name. Images of clandestine love and espionage time-travel come to mind, and are realized by his incorporation of 3D animation to accompany the music.
Turin-born, Toronto-based Daniel Colussi is better known as Fortunato Durutti Marinetti. The poetry jazz rock musician is playfully moody, yet wandering and inquisitive. His 2025 album Bitter Sweet, Sweet Bitter was featured as Bandcamp’s Album of the Day and described as “a beautiful melding of Baroque art pop and vintage jazz.”
P.S. Lucas joins us from Portugal, bringing the country’s soulful history in his music. His new record Villains & Chieftains maintains jazzy roots with added harmonic arrangements and classic pop influence.
