WAVELENGTH GOES EAST!

Wavelength Summer Thing: Scarborough Edition brings Wavelength’s inimitable curation to the Oakridge neighbourhood for the very first time.

As part of Wavelength’s 25th anniversary celebrations, Prairie Drive Park will be animated for a FREE day of creativity in the East End featuring live independent music across diverse genres, eye-catching visual arts, local food, clothing and craft vendors.

Discover new and exciting music by emerging Toronto artists from indie to hip-hop to jazz to electronic to Latin. In this fun and inclusive community-oriented atmosphere, Scarborough-homegrown acts take the stage alongside other acts from across the 416:

ROSINA (electronica meets drag + poetry)

ZINNIA (indie electro-pop plus contemporary dance)

R.I.S.E. Edutainment presents: DYNESTI (hip-hop soul queen)

BEAMS (psychedelic folk rock)

Hirut presents: ETHIO JAZZ (quintet curated by local cafe/concert space)

SoundLife Scarborough presents: BRAZILIAN PERCUSSION WITH ALINE MORALES (workshop & performance w/ Brazilian music troupe)

+MORE OR LES (DJ)

++Art Installations by Stephanie Avery, Roxanne Ignatius + more
