Wavelength Panel Discussion: What Makes a Music City?

“What Makes a Music City?”

Wavelength Panel Discussion

Sunday January 31  3-5pm

Markham House City Building Lab, 610 Markham Street

With the recent focus on the importance on the music sector and investment in the music industry, Toronto is making the effort to brand itself as a Music City. But what makes a town a Music City? What infrastructure and support systems are needed? Where can we grow, evolve, or even cut back? How can a Music City support everyone in the music community?

Join us for an accessible and interactive discussion on the evolution of Music Cities – with a focus not just on Toronto, but across the province of Ontario and around the world!

Rolf Klausener (Artistic Director, Arboretum Festival)

Ayo Leilani (Artist, Above Top Secret & 88 Days of Fortune collective)
