After an epic appearance opening for Deerhoof last summer, Kingdom of Birds flocks back to the Wavelength stage to mark the release of their sophomore album Vermin. The band’s signature honesty and grit harmonize with their charismatic energy on the eight track LP, featuring the uncomfortably intimate observations of growing up.
Joining the Kingdom of Birds through the pains of adulthood are Montréal’s Last Waltzon and Toronto’s Rosie Wyse. Both embodying DIY punk ideology with experimental undertones, this lineup offers frenzied beats to thrash all night long to.
