Heaven

Heaven is a Scarborough-born singer-songwriter from Toronto. She began performing with a choir at Rose Avenue Public School in 2002. She later studied piano at the Ontario Conservatory of Music in 2001-2007 and performed pieces at the winter concert. In 2007, she joined the Vocal Music Academy at Ryerson Community Public School, performing at their winter and spring concerts. At age fourteen, Heaven sung at a community centre talent show event. Her unique and sweet vocals can also naturally harmonize with sopranos. At fifteen, Heaven started composing and writing her own songs using the piano/keyboard. She first auditioned for Honey Jam Canada in 2014. Along with performing at the The Hive, Heaven sung with the independent music group, Artists of The Aurora at Nuit Blanche Toronto 2017. Graduating from Seneca College with a certificate in Independent Music Production, she later performed her song, “Rain” at the Steam Whistle Brewery, Heliconian Hall, The Rivoli Café, Scarborough Village and The Hideout. She describes her music genre as “creative indie.” Heaven looks forward to performing at open mic events and festivals someday soon, and is currently working on song-writing and recording her originals.
