Formed in 2019 as a way to play Ian’s debut solo record “Signals Through The Flames” Future Now has since released 2 LPs (Second Skin and Crimes Of The City) and are stoked to announce their 3rd LP the 10 song opus entitled Imperial Filth. It was co-produced by Daryl Smith (Godspeed YBE/Tricky Woo), who also mixed it and Ian (producer of Cursed 2/Weakerthans) and recorded at ProGold Studios in Toronto. On the new record there are still traces of NWOBHM and Thin Lizzy worship but are now accented with Groundhogs type dynamics and a heavier prog influence than previous outings. The ranks of Future Now include scene vets guitarist/vocalist Ian Blurton (Change Of Heart/C’mon), drummer Glenn Milchem (Blue Rodeo), bassist Anna Ruddick (xCity and Colour) and guitarist Aaron Goldstien (Esplanola). They believe in tube amps, 4×12 cabinets and volume as a way to wash away the Imperial Filth.
