Gordon Grdina and Christian Lillinger first collaborated in 2017 when creating the debut Live album of Grdina’s Project SquarePeg. On their debut album DUO WORK on ATTABOYGIRL RECORDS they have expanded their palette to include electronics, and midi-controlled instruments. The resulting sonic creations draw on influences from electronica, Persian and Arabic music, metal, freejazz, Alban Berg and Karlheinz Stockhausen. The overarching connecting theme being an intense dedication to improvisation.
