P.S. Lucas

P. S. Lucas crafts songs that echo masters like Cohen, Callahan, and Drake while carving out something entirely his own. His solo debut In Between and latest release Villains & Chieftains reveal a singular light—part blue, part sepia, part memory, part shudder—that stirs listeners with quiet revolution.

Born in the Azores and shaped by time in Copenhagen, Lucas now calls Lisbon home. He created the electro-folklore project O Experimentar and formed half of MEDEIROS / LUCAS, whose acclaimed trilogy (Mar aberto, Terra do Corpo, Sol de Março) mapped new territory between 2015-2018.

His solo performances weave Portuguese and English songwriting with finger-picked guitar and electronic textures, spanning his full career in intimate, improvisational sets. Lucas makes music that exists somewhere between continents, between silence and sound—a place recognizable only as his.
