Led by the vision of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lee Rose, Toronto’s Ace of Wands has become one of Canada’s most compelling bands since forming in 2017. Taking influence from PJ Harvey and Kate Bush, Ace of Wands blends art-rock, grunge and orchestral-pop into an immersive, emotional world.
2026 marked the release of Ace of Wands critically acclaimed third album “Future Wave.” A collaboration with legendary Canadian rock producer Ian Blurton, the music takes a bold new sonic step — blending lush soundscapes, sparkling guitars, strings, and a deeply catchy energy. Inspired by themes of haunting, the unknown, and the inevitability of time, Future Wave explores the fear of an advancing future, and how to embrace what we cannot control.
