Camp Wavelength 2017 wants you!
Volunteer, lend a hand, and pitch a tent at Toronto’s ONLY camping and music festival. While you’re at it, make new friends, discover new music, and help put on a world-class music and arts festival.
Camp Wavelength 2017 is a three-day music festival that takes place at Artscape Gibraltar Point on Toronto Island, August 18-20. Wavelength Music is a non-profit arts organization that is widely recognized as Toronto’s longest running and most influential underground music forum. This feat would be impossible without our incredible team of volunteers!
Who we are looking for:
Fun, outgoing people who love discovering new music and arts, are eager to lend a hand, want to meet other music fans, be a part of the amazingly supportive music community in Toronto, but who also aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and work hard. We need people who aren’t shy about jumping in and helping where needed, but who also know when to kick back and enjoy the show.
Requirements
• Minimum 16 years of age
• Able to commit to a minimum of two (2) shifts (between 2-6 hours) during festival
• Must make own way to Artscape Gibraltar Point (taking the ferry to Toronto Island, ferry tickets not provided)
• Reliable and courteous
• Must be comfortable talking to new people
• Occasional heavy lifting
• Being on your feet for stretches of time
Duties include:
• Box office
• Bartending
• Barbacking
• Hospitality
• Info Booth
• Merch Table
• Camping Attendants
• Runners
• Site Clean-up
• Set-up
• Tear-down
• Advance street team
