Get to know our #WL19 weekend hosts!

We have four talented and hilarious hosts (with the mosts) who will be your emcee at each of our four shows this weekend at the Wavelength Winter Fest. Please put your hands together and give a warm welcome to….

Ievy Stamatov (Friday Night)

Ievy Stamatov is a Comedian, Writer, Director, Producer, and Musician. She has worked on video projects for Daniel Caesar, Billie Eilish, Halsey, July Talk, Coleman Hell, Caveboy, CBC Comedy, and TruTV. As a Stand-Up, Ievy has been featured at JFL42 and Camp Wavelength festivals. Ievy is the Co-Founder and former Host of Lemon Comedy: an international stand-up showcase celebrating diversity Comedy Central called “timely, interesting, and noble,” and the award-winning Punch Up Comedy show in Toronto. Ievy also plays bass in So Young.

Pearle Harbour (Saturday Night)

Wartime wonder and drag tragicomedienne Pearle Harbour has been called “one of the most welcome additions to the Toronto performance scene…glamorous, poised, and devastatingly funny” (Xtra). Her original works have been presented at the SummerWorks Performance Festival, Why Not Theatre’s The RISER Project, Theatre Passe Muraille, the Rhubarb Festival, OUTstages, The Cultch, The High Performance, Rodeo, The Second City, the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, the University of Toronto, and countless other theatres, clubs, and cabarets across Canada. She is an artist-in-residence at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre. Pearle has been recognized with the Audience Choice Award (SW17), Outstanding SOlo Performance (My Entertainment World), and somewhat ironically, a Dora Award-nomination for Outstanding Male Performance.

Rebecca Felgate (Sunday Afternoon)

Rebecca is a British gal living and loving life in Toronto. Rebecca is the face of popular YouTube channel MostAmazingTop10 and runs her own self-titled blog. She wants you to know she really loves a grilled cheese.

Doc Pickles (Sunday Night)

Doc Pickles has been writing poetry in Toronto’s west end, changing, neglecting them, and finally throwing them away, since 1991. Also co-founded Wavelength and thinks he is a good singer. His band Tigerbomb writes music to accompany his incomplete poems. And he sings them. To cats.

Tickets are still available but selling fast. See you this weekend!
