The Holy Gasp: Live score for The Freshman @ Christie Pits Film Festival

Wavelength co-presents the Christie Pits Film Festival Opening Night!

Featuring: Harold Lloyd’s classic silent comedy The Freshman with live musical score by The Holy Gasp.

Presented by Christie Pits Film Festival & Toronto Outdoor Picture Show.

We’re helping kick off Christie Pits Film Festival’s seventh summer season, the 2017 Eyes on the Prize programme, with a special treat: The classic 1925 silent comedy The Freshman reinvented with a brand-new live musical score! Toronto musicians The Holy Gasp have composed original music for the film, and will perform it live alongside the film. Fans of CPFF’s previous live-score screening of Nosferatu in 2015 will not want to miss this latest production.

Films @ Sundown (9:30pm)
Eats & Treats @ 6pm by FeasTO, Little Havana Cafè, Wafel Bar & popcorn at the festival canteen
