Lisa Zbitnew

Lisa Zbitnew holds the distinction of becoming both the youngest President and the first woman to lead a major music company in Canada, and was the youngest recipient to receive the “Music Executive of The Year” honour from the Canadian Music Industry Awards. She is recognized not only for her work as a long time label head, but for her contributions in the not for profit world, including as CEO of War Child North America. Over the past decade, Lisa has focused her passion on live music. She is the co-owner/operator of the legendary Phoenix Concert Theatre, a landmark venue in the City of Toronto. Most recently, she and her partners reopened the Bronson Centre Music Theatre in Ottawa, a fully renovated 1000 capacity live music venue, which also serves as a social enterprise. The venue supports the over 40 charities within the Bronson Centre property, allowing them to operate at below market, affordable rent.
